Date: Monday, September 3, 2018
Location: Line up is at same place as last year, Sibley Place off East Ave, near Prince Street. Ends at Plymouth and W. Main
Time: Starts 11 a.m. We gather between 10 and 10:45.
Why: To celebrate Farmworkers and promote passage of the Farmworker Bill (FFLPA) (Per usual, we will stay away from immigration & deportation issues to keep the focus on the Bill.)
What to wear: Red or white top and red & white bandana
Bring water, sunglasses, hat. Wear sunscreen.

Bring a sign. Some wording possibilities:

  • Pass Farmworker Bill, S.2721
  • Thank you, Farmworkers
  • Farmworkers Feed the World (or us; or FWs put food on the table)
  • Justice for Farmworkers
  • Farmworkers Deserve Equal Rights
  • Farmworkers Deserve overtime, a day of rest, collective barg. rights
  • Urge Your NYS Senator to pass Farmworker Bill S.2721
  • Can you help with the following needs:

  • Marching photographer
  • Gather of signs at end of parade, corner of W. Main & Plymouth
  • Drummer and/or trumpets or any musical instruments to march with us.
  • Cold bottled water will be provided to those who don't bring their own or need more.
    Please help spread the word about the parade. This is an important event that celebrates ALL WORKERS!
