RMM Senior Fellows

A remarkable array of Senior Fellows provide counsel to the Executive Director and the organization. Each has specifically committed to donating their time to RMM in the interest of helping us strengthen our organization.

Wayne’s 60 years of working for Peace and Justice had its roots with his activist parents, Irvin and Anna Alt, and he was greatly influenced by his progressive pastors.

Barbara Deming, noted activist, author and prominent member of the Episcopal Diocese of Rochester, was instrumental in bringing RMM to Western New York over 10 years ago. Barbara has also served as President of RMM, guiding the organization with a thoughtful and constant presence.

The Rev. Jim Palm is known for his commitment to social justice and community building especially thru his tenure as Executive Director of The Stony Point Conference Center. Jim, as RMM’s most recent President has shepherded the Ministry to its current position as a prominent statewide organization within New York State.

Fred Wibiralske was born to be among people. Throughout his thirty years’ involvement with Rural & Migrant Ministry, Fred has been a vital part of every significant march, rally, protest, and vigil as well as more than his fair share of meetings.
