Cultivating Justice Lunch 2025

Our Cultivating Justice celebration, on Sept. 28, 2025, at the gorgeous Sisters of St. Joseph Villa in Hampton Bays, NY, was off the charts! We were surrounded by beautiful people who share in our quest for justice, and we are so grateful to all who came out to celebrate with us!

Congratulations to our honorees:

  • St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Hampton Bays
  • Wantagh Memorial Congregational Church
  • Steven Paul Ouzounian, MD & Robin Beth Septon, MD, Northwell Health
  • El Comité de Educación Inclusiva y Equitativa, Riverhead (Committee for Inclusive and Equitable Education)

Thank you to our charming Master of Ceremonies, Edgar Cerna, who is an RMM Board member and Associate Vice President, Institute for Community Health & Wellness with Northwell Health. Thanks also to VOLIY members Jerson and Alejandra for their wonderful presentation.

Much appreciation to our performers, Leanna “Lilou” Zugmeyer of East End Arts for her soulful music, and Grupo Folklorico Mexicano Xochipili for their phenomenal dancing!

Thank you to The Garage Eatery for the delicious lunch they prepared, to Analia Quispe for providing interpretation, and to Grese Productions for flawless audio engineering.

Our gratitude, forever, to our Board members for their love, support and guidance!

And a super-special thank you to our generous event sponsors:

  • Episcopal Ministries of Long Island
  • Northwell Health
  • Physicians and Staff of Northwell Dermatology of Great River
  • Sisters of St. Joseph, Brentwood
  • Sisters of St. Dominic of Amityville

We so appreciate their support — as well as the many contributions we received from so many wonderful donors. It is through your giving that RMM is able to live into its mission of serving rural and migrant communities, especially our farmworkers! We are beyond grateful!
