Episode 2: In this episode of the series, we look to the past for inspiration as we confront today’s challenges. Our guests—Rev. Miguel Escobar, Rev. Jane Gould, and Rev. David Schilling—share stories, both fictional and historical, that have shaped their thinking. They reflect on key moments of activism for immigrant and worker rights, drawing connections between past movements and present-day struggles. The episode also features an excerpt from Alan Lubin’s 2007 writings on his Border Witness delegation to the US-Mexico Border. Musical contributions include “In the Shelter of Each Other” by Kim and Reggie Harris and a performance of Marianne Williamson’s poem A Return to Love by Jeannine Otis.
