RMM offers an Overnight Leadership Camp for 100 children, ages 8-17, from across rural New York for one week each summer. (It is usually held in the third week of August.) Located in the Hudson Valley, Overnight Camp is the best week of the year! We offer all sorts of outdoors activities, workshops, performances and adventures. Camp is theme-based and utilizes the arts to help young people develop their leadership skills.
Counselors help us implement our program, as they have oversight for specific age groups for the week. Nurses (or paramedics) help ensure the wellbeing of the campers and staff.
Counselors must be age 18 or older and out of high school. To ensure the safety of everyone, we undertake background checks of all staff, and an RMM-supplied training course is required.
