Bio
In 2001, Heather and her husband started FiveStone, a strategy-led design firm. While at FiveStone, Heather worked in back-office operations. In 2024, FiveStone joined Whiteboard (Chattanooga, Tennessee), a creative agency for purposeful ventures.
Heather has long been an advocate and volunteer for women and children: participating in tutoring programs in underserved communities, serving on community outreach teams through her church, and working with families and children in crisis through Safe Families.
She has a bachelor’s degree in English Literature, an advanced certificate in Christian Spiritual Formation, and is certified as a trained spiritual director.
She and her family have settled in the Hudson Valley of New York, where she and her husband own and operate an independent bookstore, Good Books, in Cornwall. She was thrilled to discover that Rural & Migrant Ministry was headquartered nearby, and consults part-time for administrative and donor development needs.
