Volunteer

We welcome volunteers, in fact, we can’t live into our mission without volunteers! Below are some opportunities. If you are looking to make a difference, give us a call or email [email protected].

  • Drivers

We are committed to engaging with isolated, rural families. Unfortunately, there is little public transportation in our regions. We are always most grateful for folks who are willing to drive (we have a fleet of vehicles) our participants to programs at our centers in the Hudson Valley, Catskills, Eastern Long Island and Western New York.…

We are committed to providing all participants in our Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) with mentors and tutors. • Researchers

Here is a chance to volunteer with RMM remotely! • Interpreters/Translators

RMM has many events, meetings, rallies and gatherings where we need someone to help connect our people through simultaneous and/or consecutive interpretation and written translation. Usually, it is Spanish/English; sometimes, it’s Haitian Patois/English. Please let Elizabeth Grese know if you are interested in being an interpreter: [email protected]. Contact Gittel Evangelist at [email protected] if you’re interested in written translation.
