Our Benefit Concert, hosted by St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Bedford on October 16, 2026, was a beautiful evening of world-class music! The event featured pianist Cynthia Peterson, violinist Shem Guibbory, and harpist Liann Cline, as well as chamber music by David Fiedler (violin), David Restivo (violin), Sarah Adams (viola), and Seth Jacobs (cello).
Performances included chamber music and solo works, including Schumann’s celebrated Piano Quintet in E♭ Major for piano and string quartet, works by Ravel, Dvořák, and more. The evening also featured a riveting presentation by members of our Youth Arts Group (YAG), who spoke about separation of families under the current Administration. YAG was shadowed by a documentary crew who filmed the presentation as part of a forthcoming piece about RMM’s Youth Empowerment Program.
Hudson Valley artist Barbara Masterson provided a powerful painting, A Brilliant Gathering, for the event’s silent auction.
We are so grateful for the generosity of our donors, and all proceeds from the concert support Rural & Migrant Ministry’s programs.
And we are deeply grateful for the support of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, our dear friends and allies, for their gracious hospitality.
