We can’t wait to see you there!

As the event draws closer, we have women and teenage girls on our waiting list who cannot afford to attend without a scholarship. Your support will help us bring more women to the event with a low-cost or no-cost scholarship. In addition to the $500 cost per adult or teenage participant, RMM provides free childcare, interpretation, and transportation. Our participants are looking forward to having a break, a respite from the growing stresses placed on rural and immigrant working families.

The Assembly’s purpose is to help underserved women build the confidence, the skills and the support systems to educate and empower themselves to make change. At the RWA, women share resources, hold each other up, and learn tools for their own economic self-sufficiency.

Our goals for the RWA are to 1) maintain and foster a network engaged in community resilience and justice across New York, especially in rural areas; 2) provide specific tools to immigrant and rural women that are useful in their families, communities, and personal development; and 3) provide a stress-free weekend so that all of our participants leave feeling rejuvenated.

Please help us reach our fundraising goal by making a financial contribution today. Your support will have a direct impact on the women we serve, bringing hope, justice and empowerment to whole communities.
