Spark Center’s Caravan of Empathy & Vigil

Our Caravan of Empathy on November 5, 2025, from RMM’s Spark Center in South Fallsburg to the Sullivan County Courthouse in Monticello — where we held a vigil in support of our immigrant brothers and sisters — was an amazing show of strength and solidarity!

We were incredibly grateful to welcome Bishop Matthew Heyd, as well as other clergy and staff members of The Episcopal Diocese of New York. We were also joined by leaders from the Sullivan County community and a great many allies. Together, we helped to foster an appreciation of immigrants by highlighting their humanity, demanding due process, and calling on law enforcement and elected officials to serve and protect “we the people,” which includes each and every member of our community.

Sullivan County Democrat and WJFF Radio Catskill both covered the event. The Democrat is scheduled to publish a story in the Tuesday, November 11, 2025 edition, while WJFF-90.5FM ran a segment on its Radio Chatskill program on Thursday, November 6, 2025. Check it out here.
